3 Peaks Challenge Update

Over the weekend of the 1st to the 3rd July, Jenny and her team took on the three peaks challenge. This involved climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, Wales and the UK.

We thought it would be nice to hear how Jenny experienced the challenge:

Climbing the UKs highest 3 Peaks in a weekend was very demanding physically and mentally at times but also an amazing experience.

We left home at 3.30am on Friday, and got home around 9.30pm on Sunday. We travelled over 1100 miles, hiked 23 miles and climbed over 10,000 ft to reach all 3 Summits.

The weather was mainly on our side, although we did have some rain, fog, wind and it was very cold at the summits as to be expected . The views were stunning, we visited some wonderful places, ate takeaways in our digs really late at night and most importantly we had a great bunch of friends to keep us motivated.

I couldn't have done it with out them !

Ben Nevis was relentless but beautiful. Scaffel wasn't quite so tough but still very demanding  and equally as lovely, as was Snowdon.

We smashed those two ๐Ÿ˜Š I thought when climbing Ben, โ€˜never again!โ€™

I actually can't wait to do it again now!

It was great to be able to raise some funds for such a great charity. That was one of the thoughts that kept me going ๐Ÿ˜Š

Jenny and her team have been incredible, completing the challenge safely, having fun and making amazing memories.

Weโ€™re very grateful and proud that Jenny chose to support Siblings United for her beneficial charity.

Well done and thankyou to everyone involved from all of us.
